Furnishing a Small Studio in Hurghada, Egypt

Furnishing a Small Studio in Hurghada, Egypt

There are some fantastic property deals currently available in the Red Sea Resorts of Hurghada, with small Studios from as little as £6,200.  However, as you would expect at this price these are not large spacious apartments and when it comes to making the most from the property, you really need to think carefully when it comes to furnishing, but as you can see above they can look impressive if done properly.

Rivermead Global are experts at interior design and creating bespoke furniture to make the most of the space and provide maximum storage at affordable prices.  The 360 tour above is of a small 26m2 studio in one of the Tiba developments, and you can see how we have maximised the space creating an impressive looking room, complete with fully functional kitchen and great storage areas, even down to the location of the TV, so it wouldn’t be in the way when moving round the apartment.

With table and chairs on the terrace, creating an outside eating area, and somewhere to sit in the evening with a nice glass of wine or a Sakara, you could of course swap the bed for a sofa bed and this will give even more space inside.  So, if you are thinking about buying an apartment and feel put off by the size you now know how much you can actually fit inside and how impressive a £6,200 apartment can look, likewise if you already own one of these small studios and at a loss about how to furnish it, just give us a call.

Now, if we can make a small studio look this good, just imagine what we could do with a larger studio or 1 and 2 bedroom apartment, the wardrobes match our Horus Furniture Range and available in a choice of colours, plus we are now looking at a white option and even mixing colours within one unit, so white frame/carcass with light wood coloured doors for example (although I am taking some stick for my Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen thoughts), the options are endless as it is all built to order.

Trying to furnish a property in a country like Egypt can seem a daunting task, especially if you have only a 2 week holiday to try and get it completed, which after years of experience I can tell you is not possible, don’t panic call Rivermead Global.  Yes, we charge extra for items like appliances but the price includes, delivery and installation plus you have our aftersales service.   If you have ever tried ordering something in Egypt and having it delivered, you will understand when I say you could waste a whole weeks holiday, sat in your apartment waiting for the item to arrive;  when it eventually does turn up who would you get to install it, there is no Trust a Trader in Hurghada.  Even we used to struggle, I waited 4 days once for a light to be fitted, Rivermead Global now have our own electrician/plumber, we have a project manager, we can turn up 5 times a week when they say something will be delivered and then don’t turn up, you don’t have to worry, this is why we have to charge more, but what you get for your money is far more than just the item.

If you have an apartment in Hurghada, Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna or Makadi and you would like to have a free no obligation chat about your furnishing options please do not hesitate to contact us, we have an office in the UK and staff in Egypt, ready to give you as much assistance as required.  You can also view our furniture website here www.rivermeadglobalfurniture.co.uk
