TURKISH EMBASSY LAUNCHES NEW TOURISM CAMPAIGN
INVESTORS STAND TO GAIN AS TURKISH EMBASSY LAUNCHES NEW TOURISM CAMPAIGN IN INDIAN MARKET
The Turkish Embassy in New Delhi has launched a new campaign promoting Turkey as a tourist destination to Indian travellers.
The pan-India advertising campaign entitled ‘Million Reasons’ incorporates a 30 second television advert reinforced by online, print and outdoor promotions that is expected to be launched in the coming months. The campaign will promote Turkey’s various tourist attractions focusing on Turkey’s key areas of natural beauty, historical and archeological sites, and its picturesque coastline.
Ozgur Ayturk, culture & tourism counsellor for the Turkish Embassy in India commented: “The new advertising campaign reflects the natural splendours that Turkey has to offer. India is an important market for us and we have worked towards staying relevant in the competitive and fast-changing tourism environment. As always, our focus remains on highlighting and providing unique, iconic and memorable holidays. With our digital marketing strategy we will enhance the campaign and make it more endearing.”
The campaign will reinforce predictions made earlier this year by the Turkish Embassy to expect a 30 percent growth in visitors from India in 2013. Some 90,000 Indians visited Turkey in 2012, meaning a 24 percent increase over 2011.
The ‘Million Reasons’ campaign aims to open up Turkey to the Indian tourism market and should ensure that property investments in Bodrum, Akbuk and surrounding areas stay solid.
The stability of the Turkish economy continues to have a positive impact on tourist numbers and real estate in Turkey. Further growth is highly anticipated in the popular holiday destination, which is attracting the eyes of many international investors.
